Yes.

Otherwise when you buy a fridge it wouldn't come with an egg tray, would it?

Maybe posting via tapatalk, which doesn't show the poll and let you vote like me.

I don't like to keep eggs in the fridge, but my wife does, so we keep them in the fridge.

For most things, eggs should be used at room temperature, which is why i prefer to keep them out. Thy don't last as long though. Depends how fast you get through them really.

Because I have my eggs in a bowl it means I can cool myself on hot summer days by placing my man-eggs in the fridge egg holder.

High throughput, living close to farmer:

Keep eggs on worktop.
Same temperature as my oil.
And vinegar.

So that making my own mayonaise is a doodle: cold yolks will not blend well in sauces and mayonnaise.

Apparently, the trick to unrefrigerated eggs is temperature maintenance. Food spoils when it is subject to repeated changes in temperature so ensuring that eggs can be maintained at room temperature or slightly lower will help keep them fresh. If you buy eggs that have been refrigerated you should keep them refrigerated.
Also store your eggs blunt end up so as not to compress the air chamber unduly, and to keep the yolk in place.

Brought to you by the eggman of the Interweb (How to Store Eggs | eHow.com, How to Store Fresh Chicken Eggs: Traditional and Modern Methods for Preserving Eggs) - the selection is my own, i.e. I have only copied and pasted stuff that supports my method, not the whole list of documents that support the fridge approach to storing eggs.

"What are you doing today?"
"Nothing."
"You already did that yesterday."
"Not done yet."
