Autan insect repellent.

When I went to the Phlippines, there was millions of them, it was impossible to swat them all.

Despite this I didn't get bit once using the repellent.

Our local variant (the Midgie) can be deswaded by the liberal application on 'Avon' Skin So Soft moisturiser. In Scotland it's a well kept secret.:flag:

It's true.

Run your hands over any Scotsman and you're guaranteed to find lovely soft skin.

Agreed. I especially like Off, but you can't buy it here. I think it's DEET, but for some reason it doesn't sting as much as any of the DEET products I've bought at home.

I'd also like to add Vitamin B to the list. I've got a friend who lives in Hawaii and she's started taking this on my recommendation. She used to be plagued with bites when she sat on her porch in the evening - but not now.

I tend to use the missus and my kids as decoys, works most of the time. had one of those electric ennis rackets, but the missus took it off me cos I was slapping her on the bum when she had her back turned.
