I voted lidl, because its got the closest flavour to Red Bull (my fave) but I dont feel such a schmuck, as its 29p instead of £1.30 +

I dont mean to be a killjoy but you really shouldnt drink any of them, ESPECIALLY if they contain aspartame.

If you want a hangover cure try this, 2 peeled Kiwi fruits, 1 sliced banana, desert spoon of honey, depending on how sweet your tooth is and about half to three quarters pint of milk. Not Pasteurised if possible. Put it all into a blender with ice if you want it like a cold smoothy and trust me its good.
I used to drink it before playing golf, especially if I had drinks the night before

Aspartame causes cancer, drinking energy drinks is the equivalent of smoking in drink form
Also the taurine in them is bull testicles (or a substance synthesised from them)

Sounds good, although its more a hangover test... if you have the ability to make it, you cant possibly be hung over!! sometimes pulling a ring pull is too difficult!
might nip out for a couple of kiwi fruit and do that for brekkie though!

Don't drink them.
They only exist because the human body isn't designed for the lifestyle that modern man has created for himself.

Is that a scientific fact or an internet "fact"?
I like Lucozade Orange.
Redbull is only drinkable if you throw
enough vodka into it.

I dont drink them cus I like them, I drink them to keep me awake while I'm at work if I'm on a long shift. I couldnt care a **** if they give you cancer (but I doubt they do) because I dont drink enough of them to have an impact IMO. I find those little energy shot type drinks are good like "Quick Energy" or that new Lucozade drink with the stupid advert which worked very well when I was pulling an all nighter on overtime. They aint cheap at about 2 squid ago but if I crash its alot cheaper than prison. Ultimatly I'll drink any of them if they are good even if they taste like muck

I'm not saying its good but if I'm on overtime I want a 15 hour shift, its not that often I need them but if I've had a long week they just pep me up a little.

I didn't mean to sound like I'm having a pop, I wasn't.
I tried them (and pro-plus, and tons of other stuff) when I started working my shifts and was struggling with ultra early shifts in particular.
I found that once the initial kick had worn off, I felt worse than when I'd begun
The only thing that works for me, unfortunately, is hitting the sack good and early and getting 7-8 hours quality rest.

Oh I know you wasnt dont worry
I used to have quite a few and they did loose their effects on me, now when I have them only when I really tired they pack more of a punch. I had 6 Pro Plus and a Lucozade thingy and they kept me going for a few hours. I dont like to depend on them and if I get really bad I pull over and have half hour on my bed but sometimes that does make me feel terrible. Best thing is like you say is plenty of sleep

Carribean Island! I wish, if only. Seriously though Aspartame is quite a nasty piece of work. Its a sweetener to replace sugar and has been proven to cause serious damage especially for kids who do drink a lot of soft drinks today. And alot of them are overweight, amongst a lot of other problems. Anyway energy drinks can and do cause a big chemical imbalance so just be cautious of drinking them often.
Regarding my hangover cure, I have often made myself a fry the next morning (which is makes it worse) so if you can do that surely you can throw a few bits of fruit into a blender and press the button
