Long time games player here, had xbox/x360 for ages but found myself playing most of the interesting shooter stuff that was on the platform on PC as it was often better there, My Xbox was mainly used for PGR and media playing, same for the 360 Forza/PGR and media again not much else interested me that I couldn't get on PC, problem with 360 racing game wise is that the Xbox wheel is rubbish and it bites having to pay to play on line being a PC gamer, ditched the 360 when I got my PS3, that with free online, G25 compatibility meaning one great wheel for PS3/PC, Bluray and IMO equally good games as the 360 saw the 360 moving from prime place in living room to upstairs where it never got used, course I still use a PC too though so will have access to a majority of decent MS exclusives.

Can't really argue with 360 ownership though, machine is cheap and it does have good games, I sold mine when rumours of HDMI enabled 360s were coming with a view to buying another but feel actually I've got all bases covered with PC/PS3.

h have my 360 and i can compared the graphics with the PS3 same game on the same screen and the PS3 had a lower frame rate as i could pritty much see the frames per sec game was assasins creed on a samsung 37" 1080p lcd tv

Yep I keep up to date on what's going on, I've got my eye on Spore, it just takes a lot to inspire me to play a game these days. I'm sure nostalgia has set in slightly yes lol, but there was a wonderful time in games before reviews focused on anti-aliasing and frames per second when games where played as much with your imagination as with the limited graphics. Zork, Bards Tale, Powermonger, Mercenary, Kick off 2 and Monkey island to name a few.

Currently waiting for Crayon Physics Deluxe to be released.

Have had a 360 and sold it when baby came along two and a half years ago as had no games playing time any more

Now got a PS3 which I use partly as a media center thingy in her playroom to play all her Dora The Explorer and the like on. PS3 is IMO superior technology and the fact that it doesn't sound like a 747 on take off owing to ridiculous fan noise makes it better suited to this role, plus the Blu-Ray playback is a bonus.

All that said the games on the 360 were as pretty much everybody says better overall.
