Thatcher State Funeral?

They were talking about this on the
radio this evening and I thought the
old bat had died.

So when the old destroyer of all things
dies should she get a state funeral?

bit premature discussion surely

Is there any precedent set? have any of the previous dead ex-pm's had a state funeral?







Have to be honest though ... doesn't really make a difference to my life

i chose other cos I really couldn't care less..
She might have done great service for the country but it really has no bearing on my life at this stage

Great service ???? Destroyed the Coal industry, the steel industry, the ship building industry, the car industry (well it took a while but it did die) almost brought Britain to its knees, sold everything and anything, the cause of the greed nation that is now about to collapse under its own stupidity, she will be remembered by most as a tyrant. Except the few that bought and sold the rest of us.
Modern Britain has Thatcher to thank for setting the precedent where new Labour has followed. may she burn in hell

I'd be happy for her to have a state funeral, tomorrow would be nice.

You wouldn't want to ruin the weekends TV though ... last monday would've been better

When she dies I will give my guys a day off, its not often we get to celebrate in this country

How about buried alive, down a coal mine? Let her know what it is to die a slow death, trapped in a situation you can't get out of, cut off from the rest of the world.

Failing that - a state funeral? Please....I know they gave Churchill one, but we really aren't talking the same calibre of leader here, are we? One saved the nation from foreign invasion (amongst other, less admirable, things), the other screwed it up the a**e to line the pockets of her cronies.

Her daughter Carol is a bit fit though, no?
