Re: Music....how Do You Listen
I love listening to Elvis on my old 8 track machine.
Live is always best.
MP3 for the computer and phone.
and CD for the car.

Re: Music....how Do You Listen
At home - various different compression formats depending on subject matter, some lossy, some not via a MediaServer to my XBOX 360 and Streamium providing optical source to a Denon Surround Sound system with Mission Labs NXT2 Flat speakers.
In car - Just the Bose CD Multichanger System until I revise it later in the year with a solidstate none lossy ICE mediaserver.

Re: Music....how Do You Listen
Live as much as I can
CDs around the house and in the car
iPod anywhere else
Bit of vinyl on special occasions and when I can't find what I want on any other format.

Re: Music....how Do You Listen
Ipod in the 156's through Alpine connector to Alpine HU or MP3 cd's - single CD player so easiest way to get maximum amount of music on one CD.
CD's, MP3's or Ipod at home - depends what and where I'm playing music

Re: Music....how Do You Listen
Mostly vinyl or CD at home, CD or radio in the car, if I have to. Car is for driving; not a good place to really listen to music, V6 soundtrack is unbeatable. If I'm really listening to music, it has to be in the sitting room with the proper stereo, proper ambience, drinks readily available... As for MP3, I have a player, but find it too fiddly -- buttons are way too small, tiny screen makes choosing/finding music too cumbersome, detracts from the reason for wanting to hear the music in the first place!

Re: Music....how Do You Listen
ipod most commonly (in the car via B&M) but not my favourite, which has to be my Hi-Fi system (Lynn/Audiolab/Teak/Ruark). Unfortunately I have less time to do so these days, so ipod it is.
Never understood spending lots of dosh on an in-car system - way too much outside interference. It simply isn't an audio-friendly environment.

Re: Music....how Do You Listen
I usually listen with my ears.
I have a MP3 headunit with USB stick in my car for MP3's. I usually buy CD's, rip them and then put all of the songs on the stick.
It is so much cheaper than an IPOD, with the same sound quality.

Re: Music....how Do You Listen
CD's or live. MP3's generally are crappy quality, especially the not quite legal downloaded ones
