The Delta would be a great family car. You will miss your 147 if you get a Mito.

Stick with the old idea and get a 159 and a Brera in second hand.

Mito and Delta?
Here's the deal:
me and my wife are planing to buy one or 2 new cars, next year. We're building a house and we're going to join all the expenses in one, so it would be a good opportunity to buy a new car for her... and a new for me.
A few months ago, the contender was just a 159 for her, while I would keep the 147. But now the things are changing a bit... there's the Mito and the new Delta arriving!
Would I be crazy to get one Mito (for me) and a Delta (for her)? The Delta would also be the family car to do some trips around Europe (Holland and UK ), since we're having a baby in November.
What do you think?
Delta in black, Mito in white or red.
P.S. My previous 2 cars were Lancias. I am, and will always be, an Alfisti and truth Italian Car lover.

Re: Mito and Delta?
Reviews of the Delta so far say
it's got a nasty interior.
No good asking the Brits.
They won't be getting any Lancias.

Re: Mito and Delta?
Hi Nev, pity that Lancia died in UK.
From what I've seen the Delta interior seems quite luxurious. I'm going to do a 2 days test drive in a couple of weeks. Than I'll write a review with shots.

Re: Mito and Delta?
Hey Hugo, go for both, you know it makes sense!
We are looking to change Mandy's car and will probably wait till the Mito arrives in the UK, our kids are growing up (Adam 18, drives and is going to University in September & Laura 15..doesnt take up much room ) So a smaller car would offset my massive 3.2 V6 carbon bootprint

The long testdrive is the only way
to check these new puppies out.
Will have to take a look.
(It' good you can go shopping
for Fiat/Alfa/Lancias at the
same place here. )

Re: Mito and Delta?
The MiTo looks munting in a picture but I understand it's much better in real life. The Delta looks cool in the pics but it's very colour dependant. The white one at the Geneva Show was awful but the Black one at Brescia for the Mille Miglia was lush

That's why I'm going to do it. Actually, I've been invited to and I can't say no. A long test drive will show the real things about both cars.
And it's good to have some friends working at your dealership.

Everybody says pics don't do justice to the Mito. And a friend of mine has drive it, the 155cv... it's a pocket rocket, impressive in every aspect! Can't wait to drive it!
The Delta, I don't like it in white either. But in black, it looks like a very distinctive car.

My wife didn't like very much the Delta, the first time she saw it. But... it's growing.

The Delta looks more versatile, plus it's coming out now while the Bravo has already one year.
Cheers BF
