The Delta would be a great family car. You will miss your 147 if you get a Mito.

Stick with the old idea and get a 159 and a Brera in second hand.

Re: Mito and Delta?
Well, if you can get a good price on the Delta, yes, a newer car will probably be the one to go for

The problem is that it's my wife that's going to be driving the Delta. Even if the Delta is not a small car at all, it's shorter than the 159...
She likes small cars.

Re: Mito and Delta?
Well we're really in love with the Mito and the Delta. My wife is loving the Mito! Hei hei but that will be my car.
But we might get the Mito in red not in white. That's the idea of Mrs Throttlewoman.
The Delta will be black.

One look at the nose of a modern Lancia and the answer is just staring you in the face......

A few months ago, the contender was just a 159 for her, while I would keep the 147. But now the things are changing a bit... there's the Mito and the new Delta arriving!
Would I be crazy to get one Mito (for me) and a Delta (for her)? The Delta would also be the family car to do some trips around Europe (Holland and UK ), since we're having a baby in November.
What do you think?
Delta in black, Mito in white or red.
P.S. My previous 2 cars were Lancias. I am, and will always be, an Alfisti and truth Italian Car lover.
In pictures I find the Mito rather meek looking. The Delta definitely looks better. IRL I don't know.
The old Delta HF Integrale 16V was one hell of a beast though. Miles better than any Alfa of that age.

Come on... it's... different. But I find the Delta a really well designed car. Different but proportionally correct, with subtle lines. And the interior is spacious for a family.

Everyone (that I personally know) that saw in flesh and drove the Mito says that there's no pictures that show what/how it really is.
The old Delta will always be a car difficult to see again.

Re: Mito and Delta?
get the Mi-To & the Delta, Alfa's new baby has had rave reviews, Top Gear magazine love it, i'm a sucker for Lancia so the Delta might actually replace my 147 when the time comes!

Just to let you know that I've already drove the Delta for about 150kms. I'll post about it tomorrow.
