AO "Other Marques" Car of the Year: Poll 2
Peeps,
Here we go. Votes will be gathered over the next three weeks, winner gets a special title under their avatar and a secret prize from Japan
All the usual rules apply: - Competitors may post up to 5 photos of their car
- No soliciting for votes on or off AO
- Etc, etc. as per the main AO COTY competition
I've had to split the polls into two: you can only vote for one car across both polls so vote only on the poll that has the car you want to vote for.
In case of double votes, both votes will be removed.
May the best one win

Re: AO "Other Marques" Car of the Year: Poll 2
This is my 22 year old Pontiac Fiero 2.8 V6 GT with a aftermarket turbo from turbo technics its about 180 to 190 BHP mid mounted engine rear wheel drive so abit of a handfull but very easy to handle once you have spun it a few times great fun and sounds ...have a listen
Video of f7 metro - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Its almost standard apart from the wheels and turbo but I have kept its old wheels which are a BBS black cross spoke type but only 15"
This is my 7th Fiero so you could say I like them as do I like my other car's

Re: AO "Other Marques" Car of the Year: Poll 2
Hi all,
My Clio is the limited edition Renaultsport Trophy model, featuring 180 bhp, Sachs Racing suspension, Recaro seats and 1050 kg kerb weight straight from the factory.
The car has been variously described by EVO magazine as 'supercar for the people' and 'best hot hatch ever'. In Evo Car of The Year contest in 2005 the order was as follows:
01. Ford GT40
02. Ferrari F430
03. Renault Clio Trophy
04. Lambo Gallardo SE
05. BMW M3 CS
06. Porsche Cayman S
07. Aston Martin V8 Vantage
08. BMW M6
09. Mercedes SLK55 AMG
10. TVR Sagaris
Nicknamed the 'tomato' for its model specific capsicum red, the car is particularly brilliant on the British B road, a type of surface the damping has been specifically tuned for.
My car is completely standard, apart from uprated brakes; is 3 years old, has done 22 000 miles and is nearly as new. She is a lovely drive and makes me smile every time I get a bit of open road ahead of me, particularly if there are some corners ahead
I thank you in advance for any votes cast my way

Re: AO "Other Marques" Car of the Year: Poll 2
Our old Toledo is special to us because it took us to our wedding and on to our honeymoon
It has toured Finland, Sweden and Norway and never, ever let us down
It is a 1972 1300cc 2 door saloon originally from Maryport in Cumbria. We have all the original documents and service history. It's done just 45000 miles, although we put a reconditioned 1300 Spitfire engine in a couple of years ago.
It's had two resprays in the time we've had it - coming up for 8 years now - and very little welding. Painted in French Blue. It's just a solid, reliable little car

Thanks for the votes guys, I voted for Garry-graig's Karmann on other half of the poll 'cos it's just lovely
Here are a few more crappy shots of the Griff. The last two are in 'Le Mans' spec, stickers are now removed.

Will I get some sort of booby prize when my car (rightfully!) comes in last place?
