Re: Do you hate Man Utd ?
You mean
£13.5M for Nani
£15M for Anderson
Carrick was £14M, but he's not a young player anyway, neither is Hargreaves
Rooney was £25M
Your complaints, amusingly enough, mirror the exact failings of your club.
In 2006, we spent £29M on Carrick, Kuszczak, Evra and Vidic - signings which allowed us to win the Premiership.
Liverpool spent £29.5M (note: This is a HIGHER number, Liverpool fans seem to have difficulty with this) on:
Aurelio
Pennant
Kuyt
Palletta
Bellamy
Agger
Signings which allowed you to continue to be mediocre.
You seem to think it's immoral that we spend so much on players - except your team spends MORE - it's just that we buy 1 or 2 quality signings, while Benitez jerks it all on 10 mid-table players.
On, and in that same year, you sold £9M worth of players, we sold £23M. So your net spend was more than 3 times ours.
Over the last 15 years, Liverpool have averaged £1M more net spend per year than Manchester United - and they're still crap!
I just hope Rafa never leaves - you might stumble on a decent manager if he did!
