Yes because I have been doing Karate since I was a kid.
He probably had them there as a deterrent anyway, chances are he wouldn't know how to put them on.
People who are confident in defending themselves wouldn't need to shout about it.
i was once about to launch a tirade of abuse at some tool who cut me up, but then i noticed the sticker in his rear window from the local dodgy thai boxing gym so thought i'd better not
i just followed him home and burnt his house down instead
Maybe he is suffering from Impetigos Dermatitis? boxing gloves are helpful in treating this?: MO's instructions to wear the same. Tougher when the PTI's put them on for a bout.:
Having boxed - I can honestly say i have never displayed gloves, they would always be in the kit bag....there was a time where I would dance in front of the mirror with my gloves on and shorts - pretending I was the middleweight champion of the world....and that I had just smashed Marvin Hagler to pieces....well one can dream but leeving them on the parcel shelf
so I think this guy has probably never even hit a heavy bag
No bull in what I said. Told to wear training ones, with the elasticated cuffs at night, to stop me scratching, and spreading, those horrible scabs. So if you see mine on the back shelf, you will know I have that highly contagious rot again, so don't hassle me, otherwise you may catch it!!
