Re: Favourite Flavour Crisps

Here I go again, none, absolutely none, have the taste the ones used to have when they were in a sort of translucent papery type of bag, imo.:

The were delivered in large square tins to the shops, and I used to help the Smiths lorry driver throw the returned empty tins on to the roof frame of the lorry. Boring again, speciality, by me Eh, KG and Co??PS Missing Snoots PG??:

Can't beat them fried in good old fashioned healthy dripping, for the ultimate in taste. Tasteless sticky things they are to me nowadays! Shss! Zed, just because you deplore artificial modern grub!:

Yeah, but come on ZU, most of the time they were fusty

It was great step forward when Smiffs and Golden Wonder changed to plassie packets....Don't you remember; even the wee twisty salt bag thing used to get damp and you got biggish clumps of salt on your floppy crisps....

No, no, no, some things are definitely better nowadays - crisps being one

Re: Favourite Flavour Crisps

'Salt & Shake' was great, you'd have a competition with your mates to see how many salt sachets you had in the packet, and you always had to use them all !!!!
