How long do you intend keeping your alfa?
Just curious. My car is 5 years old this september and I have owned it 3 years, and it is now the longest I have kept a car. I have no current intention to sell it in the near or even distant future, as there is just nothing to replace it out there at the moment.

Re: How long do you intend keeping your alfa?
The Spider has only been here since December. I still have the 147 bought in Oct 2006 (but hopefully not for much longer).
I'm hoping to keep the Spider for a very long time.

Re: How long do you intend keeping your alfa?
Had my RZ for 10 years past in January...
Had the GTV for three years now, which is how long I planned to keep it. Not entirely sure what I'll do with it, nor what I'd change it for - GT 3.2, Sportwagon GTA, S4/RS4 Avant maybe.
Had the 147 for almost two years, probably keep it for one more and then see whats what - the Junior (or whatever) should have been out for a few months by then.

Re: How long do you intend keeping your alfa?
Owned the 156 since July 2006
Absolutely no idea how long I'll keep her....as long as I can afford to feed her I guess....

The question in the thread title is different to the question in the poll.

Re: How long do you intend keeping your alfa?
I've had this 156 for less than 6 months, but I had my previous 156 for almost 2 years. I love Alfa's and they way they make you feel but there are also a lot of other good, old, cheap cars out there and I'm not going to deprive myself of them because of this 156.. So if I see something else I like I am just going to buy it, and then the 156 will have to go, if I prefer the other car I have bought.
I want a late model Porsche 944 Turbo, and also want a BMW 540i manual, the 4.4 V8 model. Would also love to have an old GTV6 fitted with a 24v V6 engine, either 2.5, 3.0 or 3.2..

Alfa 156 3.0 24v V6, Silver, red leather, Q2 diff, GTA Teledials, headlights & inlet manifold, AutoDelta carbon intake, BMC CDA, decat pipe and SuperSprint rear box, Eibach Pro springs & Koni FSDs (Front), FK coilovers (Rear), Dastek Unichip - my 245bhp beast!
Gone but not forgotten: Alfa 156 2.4 JTD Veloce, Angel 'mad map' & BMC CDA, Ferodo DS2500s - the fastest tractor in town!

Re: How long do you intend keeping your alfa?
I'm in your boat Eddie. What would I replace with?
Absolutely nothing at the moment out there.
Maybe an RS4 at some point in the future could tickle my fancy. But that'll be a few years into the future. Similarly a Maser GranSport, if the opportunity comes around again for me to own something a little less practical.
