Re: How long do you intend keeping your alfa?

Normally get bored of cars very quickly, but had this a year now and I wouldn't consider changing.

Re: How long do you intend keeping your alfa?

my 166 is 7 years old and i have had it 5.5 years and hope it will go on for another 3 to 4 years, just about to rebuild the suspension and then a small sportronic gear box issue i have always loved the car and will save up for a Brera or GT, yep mid life crisis

I spotted that too, but only after I had posted

I have had the car for 9 months and it's on a 3 1/2 year PCP. so a bit to go yet

Re: How long do you intend keeping your alfa?

Have had mine since August, and given my record for keeping cars, I'll probably have it for about 3-5 years, by that time i'll probably be a bit bored and want something else

Had the spider 4 months now and loving every minute of it.

Will keep for around 4 years and then look at P/x for the next generation of spder or similar type Alfa

Re: How long do you intend keeping your alfa?

I was considering replacing the 147 with a 149 but as they so not seem to want to make it, unless the Mito, is a real gem, I will have to be looking elsewhere for a car sooner or later ...
I need a reliable car that can go at any time 600+ kms from an Alfa dealer .....
eventually, any car becomes "unreliable' just due to the number of Kms it has done.....
and no, the 159 and Brera do not rock my boat..... but then I was not a fan of the 156 either

Dang! I voted wrong because of it

Anyway, I only buy cars I don't sell them, or at least I don't plan to sell any. So my vote may be correct in ca. 9.5 years. Never understood why people keep changing cars so often...

Re: How long do you intend keeping your alfa?

I've had the GTV about 2.5 to 3 years, the 33 for 12 years and the MG for 22 years
