156 Bumper Strips: Which do you prefer???

Was looking at an advert on eBay today for a newer 156, it looked the same as my 2000 V plate but it had colour-coded front and rear bumper strips.

And gotta be honest, I don't like them one bit,

It's almost as though it makes the rear end especially too much to look at, like your eyes can't quite adjust properly due to the fact the bumper strips blend in with the bumper, which I suppose is the desired effect. The car was silver so I'm not sure if that makes a difference...

I'm personally more of a fan of my black bumper strips than the colour coded ones and thought I might be alone on this.

So I designed a poll... A poll that would give me the answer to the question of whether or not I was along in this...

So then, do you prefer the black 156 bumper strips or the colour coded ones????

You just bide your time and keep an eye out young man, as I want your vote to side with mine,

Funnily enough my JTD had colour coded bumper and it was one of the things that drew me to that particuar example over the others, with black bump strips and headlight washers. My V6 is the same as this, silver with black bump strips and headlight washers.. One of the things I'd like to do is remove the headlight washer's and get all the bump strips colour coded. Unlike Darren, I think it looks a lot smarter but its just personal opinion I guess.

I would say though, if there is any colour that suits the black bump strips more than any other its the silver 156s. But I do think it looks better colour coded.

I reckon a body shop could spray it real cheap..

Yeah it's not so bad spraying it, should be fairly cheap to be honest, but I prefer the black strips rats!

Where's the "You can shove your bumper strips where the sun don't shine", "Other" option !!!!
