147 - Old or new

With these new Collezione models, which do you think looks better, old (pre-facelift) or new (facelift)?

Im guessing that the ones who like the older model are a> blind b>mad c> jealous cause they cant afford one

The facelift, looks a lot sharper & more aggressive

Time to lock this thread me thinks

The facelift 147 was marketed in France
as a girls' car.

I only ever see them driven by women
therefore by pure logic: Girls' car.

On the otherhand I had an ol' pre facelift
acero verde 2.0TS: Blokes' car.

Simple when you lay it all out logically.

Both are nice but I'd go with the facelift, just as I would with the 156 & 166

I'll be buying one 147 for my wife (to join my 147) and guess what, we can get the first and the second... we just want the first!

I bought a pre-facelift 147 because I preferred the looks & I still do. The new version isn't as sexy as the older one (in my opinion)

everyone to their own taste, considering you can pick up a pre facelift for peanuts it may suit some, still you cant beat progress

Never been inside a new one but from pics, the dash material looks inferior to the original.

I personally think the pre-facelifted one bears more retro resemblence to the 2500 Villa d’Este...and hence i like more. Although the new one does tidy it in line with the new-look alfa face i suppose (yet still less aggressive compared to the Brera and 159 IMO)

I like them both but as I owned a pre-facelift, I have to say that's the better looking one

Neither. The 147 is, was and always will be a girl's car. FACT!!

Prsumably that is why it has it's 'skirt' up at the rear showing it's panties
