Re: leather interior for 156

I have a 156 saloon with red leather coming in 2moro

It is a 1999 model, not 100% if there are any differences to the later model.

Can update you on condition if you think there a possible

Re: leather interior for 156

Bob,

Appears it's a sept 99 model,which doesn't have airbags in the seat

Although does have all round lecky windows if that matters !

Leather is in good order, not excellent but bolster still firm with light surface wear,no other marks.

Re: leather interior for 156

Also dont think red will work with a blue car.

I have tan in my Cosmos blue car (but its more like black) and this goes quite well although tan leather is a bit yellow until I tinted the windows - now it looks darker.......or maybe I'm just used to the colour now

Most other colours would work well ....dark and light grey, blue or black

If you go for a light colour you will notice the car feels more spacious inside.

Re: leather interior for 156

cheers pascs.

i would rather buy from a member with a dead alfa than a breaker - i imagine the quality would likely be better in most cases.

i like red, but i cant see it working - lets see what turns up.

Re: leather interior for 156

There's a GT in Gorey that has leather seats. Fronts would be similar to the 156 but you will have the handles to slide them forward and back on them.

Try, Whelans in portloaise have loads of everything there. 11811 is your friend.

Re: leather interior for 156

Bob,

My 156 GTA complete interior is for sale and interestingly the center leather section is that blue-ish colour that Alfa did. There are a few photos of it on the pages / listing here.

let me know if you are interested and I will point you in the right direction.

I know you are across the water, but more that happy to put it on a pallet for you. Failing that I could meet you at the docks if that helped.

Re: leather interior for 156

Bob mate, if my clutch is buggered I'll be looking at removing my leather interior and selling it. You interested? Blue exterior and cream/grey leather should work together. The seats are in decent nick, the door cards are all pretty mint, there's a bit of wear on the drivers side seat and centre card mind. The rear seats are immaculate pretty much.

Here's a few pictures:

The set includes:

2 x Front Seats (Driver and Passenger)
Rear Seat Assembly (Lower and Upper sections, plus 3 x Headrests)
6 x Door Card Sections (3 x Nearside, 3 x Offside)
Assortment of switches, handle surrounds, tweeter assembly's and tweeters, etc etc...

Me and Hammy156 managed it in an afternoon and it's fairly easy to do with a mate.

Let me know if you are interested so if my car is Kaput you have first dibs on the leather mate, if you want it that is,

(Everything else will be up for grabs as well mate so if you need anything else let me know)

The above post was brought to you by Darren156. Irritating members of Alfa Owner since June 2007!
