156 2.5 V6 Full suspension for SW

Will consider any v6 suspension but ideally SP kit or self levelling.

Getting quotes of £140 ish from breakers with 3 month warranty - so looking to pay less than that (unless decent aftermarket stuff)

Re: 156 2.5 V6 Full suspension for SW

That is the suspension that has been fitted to mine I'm attempting to replace!

My V6 is very low, sometime scrapes arches with no load in when cornering and if I have people in the back its basically undrivable - very worried that they tyres are going to catch on some metal in srches and blow!

Does yours not catch with pass in?

No - see pic - rear is slightly higher than the front anyhoo, so can still 'load' the back

In fact I have been going to the tip today with bags of soil with the following result (I know it is acrime to abuse my 156 in this manner!)

Re: 156 2.5 V6 Full suspension for SW

Can't see pictures at work but its interesting that yours is fine with load. Whats the warranty on these? Did you look at any other budget options? At the moment I am looking at second hand parts for approx £150 - they are very hard to find and obviously a bit of an unknown quantity.

How it the drive quality? Do you reckon is as good as the standard (on non SW) sports suspension?

Just checked the item again & they state "Items used or damaged by the buyer can not be returned"

Didn't look @ many other options really (apart from the obvious Koni's etc) - saw these a kinda bought them on a whim

So far I am impressed, car is WAY better @ cornering now (keep yer foot down! ) but is not TOO harsh over speed bumps etc

Did you fit the kit yourself?

Re: 156 2.5 V6 Full suspension for SW

Did not fit myself. Previous seller could provide very little info on them (even though he fitted them) - no reciept etc.

I reckon he might have bought the wrong kit - I am now considering just changin gthe springs and seeing if that ressolves the problem.

BTW if my pm box is full try emailing me through my profile people.
