Porter Cable 7424 Polisher

Porter Cable 7424 110Volt Polishing machine

Kit Includes:

Porter Cable Dual Action Polisher 7424
(1) Sonus DAS FlexPlate, 6"
(1) Sonus SFX-1 Foam Pad
(1) Sonus SFX-2 Foam Pad
(1) Sonüs SFX-3 Foam Pad
(2) Sonus DAS Buffing Bonnets

I have only used it twice and still have the box, leaflets etc. I bought it from Autopia in the USA - it needs a 110Volt transformer (site power tool typ - get them from screfix or builders merchants - I need mine!)
They all do - there isnt a european version.

This is the tool of legend as featured on Autopia and is the ultimate tool of its type - but for people with more time than me!

Its very heavy, so you can collect in Glasgow/ Edinburgh, at Brooklands on the 5th of May, or Scottish Italian car day on the 27th May. I would like payapal in advance of carrying it half way around the world!

I have only used it twice and its all in good condition, the pads and bonnets are clean and ready to use.

I am looking for £90.00 ono - I paid $260 US

Its similar to this but with more kit

How it works

£90 is a good price. A PC is a great tool which is easy to use and can give excellent results.

Re: Porter Cable 7424 Polisher

Sorry guys, its no longer for sale!

I can reccomend the product though - I imported mine from Autopia in a group buy with a big discount, a personal import is likely to cost about £150.00 or so.

Re: Porter Cable 7424 Polisher

How would this possibly cost £150 quid to import? You can buy one on Amazon in the states for around 60 quid: http://www.amazon.com/Porter-Cable-7.../dp/B00004SUQ8

Is VAT, duty shipping really going to amount to another 90 quid? Don't know what the rules are for a powertool but computer stuff I've ordered from the states doesn't more than double in price.

Re: Porter Cable 7424 Polisher

Cj's quoting on experience m8 As you can see the price is marked down and obviously the exchange rate is amazing at the moment

Plus as you say VAT, postage etc. will add up

you're looking to clear the ton at any rate

True, true. Guess my annoyance at how we get ripped off heavily here was showing through.

Re: Porter Cable 7424 Polisher

Dont get carried away here, mine was with 3 pads, 2 microfibre bonnets and a flexipad for that money and its heavy - about $60 in shipping alone.

You aint getting ripped off here, you cant buy them here - unless its a grey import.
