For sale is my faulty alfa 147 connect nav+ unit. This was removed from a late 2001 model.
The unit recieves power but crashes after the Alfa logo and restarts. no buttons respond. I suspect it is a firmware/ROM problem.
The screen is in perfect working order with no missing lines, the internal chipset cooling fan is in perfect working order and all ribben cables are intact.
Apart from the fault, i have "surgicly removed" the nav disk, as a result, the disk drive is in disk inserted position. i am sure this would fix itself when working though, all you would need to do is press the eject button when it finally responds to the buttons. I believe the disk drive is in working order and not the cause of the problem.
Sale includes instrction book and heavily scratched nav disk (dated 2001-1)
Will post to anywhere in the uk.
Given the rarity and the demand for parts, i am offering this for "offers over" £100. I cannot value this but i know the screen is a desirable part. Anyone that knows how to fix them could make a fortune selling it on again.
Offers over £100, Would p/x for a working one.
