God these monsters are ugly! They seem to be breeding around Manchester too.

Subject of some debate chez nous lately. MrsJim has always loved big SUV type stuff (in fairness to her - even before they were really trendy fashion statements). Personally, I think they are a waste of space and are too ostentatious but are probably a better place for your kids in a crash than a 10 year old Kia.

Anyway, stuck beside one in traffic on Sunday. Side on it looks like Alien from the movie doesn't it?

Aside from the obvious lack of style it is an Audi, which means it was always going to be driven with a level of arrogance unsurpassed by any other drivers on the planet. I can see that this is going to be the car that will cut you up at the last minute on a motorway slip road as it finally leaves the outside lane at the 100yds marker, only this time instead of a rep with his spare shirt and samples on the back seat it will be young tarquin on the way to prep school.

People who drive Monstrosities like the Q7, X5 et al should be sterilised to stop the knuckle dragging dullards from breeding and gathering at supermarkets, like a scene from Zombies Dawn of the Dead.

i actually think the x5 at east has decent styling....the only car from this class that i actually like is the volvo xc90......it just looks so elegant compared to the other crassmobiles.....

A couple over the road from us have one,he's the same guy who blips the throttle on his bike 20 times as he comes up the street,they have a Rottwieler as well
