Re: New Ferrari Dino Official Shots
Yeah the rotors do not quite bed into the calipers and the tyre is on backwards, the rear rotor seems TOO large. Either way, thats some amazing 3D concept mocks I must say.

Yet, it looks beautiful.
Have to say that is very visualy similar to the 8c and about 2 other steeds...again, nice either way and the overall design of the shell seems a bit more refined than the 8C, even the front is well balanced...yet I would make more than a few changes while its in the the mock mode.

Re: New Ferrari Dino Official Shots
Actually I dissagree with you there. These appear to be more like 3D moddled and rendered in PS rather than the initial mocks on Pg 1. These concepts also appear to be less refined and more like working concepts with many areas of contention and akward use of line and space contrasts. The rear panal is terrible on these pics and the front here is also not working well with the concept of the car.
Much prefere the initial renderings on Pg 1.

Shocking news:

Re: New Ferrari Dino Official Shots
Actually the final design of the 149 is not that appealing to me...the previous renderings were more vivid and bold, this final concept is far from catching other than the fact that its a Farrari. So...8C please!!!!

Re: New Ferrari Dino Official Shots
On here, yeah I know. But I checked out some pics online for the 149 and from what I can tell regarding final roughs, its not that appealing. But I do not claim to know this market well enough to find prelim mocks though.

Re: New Ferrari Dino Official Shots
Like too many modern Ferrari's, it looks a bit bland and sterile. Like an engineering project on wheels, designed on a computer screen according to set rules, rather than by a designer with a passion.

Re: New Ferrari Dino Official Shots
The point remains, BF. Modern Ferrari's just lack sometihng or other that they've had in abundance in the past. they perform better, look purposeful enough, sound nice, but somehow don't stir the soul like a Ferrari should
Strange, but true.

Re: New Ferrari Dino Official Shots
Perhaps. The fact is they've become a lot more common and that is probably part of the reason why they've lost that "special something".
