Tata nano

For what it is, I think it's a cracking bit of engineering:

BBC NEWS | Business | Designing the Tata Nano

What the Smart should have been, and from this vid
looks better than a lot of "Quadricycles" that are made
in France.

May not be a "car" as in what we'd all expect
but I'll give it a:

(And better than a damn Prius in the eco/engineering stakes!)

Smart was all about a certain image though - this is just the cheapest of cheap motoring. Good luck to them.

Re: Tata nano

The real joke would be if they started shipping
CKD kits to the UK. Reversal of history.

Re: Tata nano

What's the progress on gordon murray's (McLaren F1 designer) small car concept??? Now that looked like ground braking engineering - the Tata is a cost saving exercise in the extreme.

Don't think quadricycle thingies have to be NCAP'd, do they? That's why they're all deathtraps
