My best friend bought a racing green 1998 Cerbera 4.2 a few months ago.
Having been a massive long distance dreamer with regards to Cerbies, I was very excited to see a friend had bought one.
Not quite the same when your actually in the thing though, sounds like a bag of spanners at idle from cold, interior wears very badly and looks tatty, however loved all the custom switches and quirks.
Most dissapointing for me was the noise, I have always grinned/dribbled when I was behind any TVR, but this one just sounded like a VERY loud chavved up car, more loud than any descernible acoustic pleasure (could have been due to some silly exhaust fitted by the last owner...I could hear the car from miles away).
Then to top it off, the crankshaft broke last week (30k mile car), and needs a new engine or a rebuild, both quoted at £6-8k.
I still want one though

.....in a deep metallic blue with the big alloys
