Bmw X6
is this on sale yet?
last saturday, i saw a red one in Marlow, and today i passed a silver one in Winkfield (with stickers on it saying 'energy something').
Anyway they're a massive, and chuffingly horrid to look at.
Well done BMW.

I saw one yesterday around Weybridge. They do look bad, bit like a monster truck!

Supposed to drive extremely well as it has some clever 4wd system. Still horrible and pointless. Will sell by the bucketload  |

is a pile of dung off road, so why bother?

I agree they are all ugly, without exception. The X6 gets the stick in this case because it's a 4x4 coupe and is not designed for off road work. What's that all about? |

Wrong. I don't slate all SUVs/4x4 at all.
Just the pointless and/or ugly ones.
BTW I think an Alfa SUV will be a disaster for the brand.

I agree with Nev, this thread just happens to be about the new X6 model There is a thread about the proposed Alfa SUV that has a lot of negative comment.
The X6 is perhaps a niche too far? Not a coupe, not an SUV, not a saloon,not an estate, not an off-roader and not a sports-car. Yet they've created IT and it is a horrid, expensive thing that may well drive surprisingly well but I'd rather have an M5 Touring. |

I agree that they are all ugly, but no-one mentions anything about the other makes. But as soon as BMW make one, everyone jumps on the BMW bashing bandwagon... No-one seems to have said anything to the fact that yes, the X6 looks like a pile of cr*p, but it doesn't look as bad as xxxxxxx. The only cars that ever seem to get a bashing on here are BMW. Are they the pet hate on this website or something??? Why does the vast majority of members on here hate them so much?
