Saw a Veyron today!!...

Well the back end of it anyway! spotted it first just before the Hammersmith Flyover going towards the M4. Tried my best to get thru the traffic to get a closer look and maybe a piccy but to no avail.

It was being followed by a brace of silver Breras!!

i got passed by one on the m1 last year, i nearly crashed

my gf was at a conferance at silverstone last year and mr abramovitch was giving the chelsea team a jolly in one round the track, my opinion of him was confirmed when my gf told me how they were all forbiden from looking out of the windows incase they saw anything wtf. what a tit

I think the majority of em are hired. My boss had one a little while ago from the club he is a member of. Not as good looking up close i thought and a little cramped inside seeing how large the thing is. It had a sticker in the rear window saying "Catch Me If You Can!" which i thought was crap, and the colour (the nasty mauve on silver) was ghastly. Did sound epic when he fired it up though.

He's trying to build his points to get it again. If he does i will take some piccys.

Saw one outside Maranellos in Egham a couple of weeks ago.

It was white with blue centre stripes. It looked like a fat, lowered and pimped Fiesta ST.

I saw a brand new unregistered Veyron in a showroom in Gerrards Cross a couple of weeks ago. I think it was being offered at £1.5 million. I went there to look at a a DB9 Volante that they had for sale but they would only offer me £27 k. for my DB7 Volante. Three days later I accepted £35 k. from an Aston Martin main dealer in p/x against one of his far better DB9's. For what it is worth, in a showroom full of utterly delectable cars it was the veyron that caught my 10 year old daughter's attention, and the only car that she bothered to take a pic.of on her phone !

Would that be Saffron cars by chance ? They have some fantastic cars in there don't they ?

Think of what a storming garage of loveliness you could have for the price of just one fat pig Veyron.

I saw a Veyron in Kensington on Saturday, it was out of site by the time camera phone was out of pocket and missed calls had bee cancelled. Sounded very nice though

I saw a Veyron a few months ago on the Marylebone road, possibly the same fella.

Looked as in the flesh as it does in the pics

I've still not seen a Veyron. We've been to Monaco twice in the last year and i still haven't come across one

There was one of the new Rolls Royce Phantom Dropead Coupes parked in Saint Tropez harbour car park though, which was exciting! It didn't look quite right, the countless Bentley Conti GTC's flying around looked far better resolved.

There was a McMerc SLR parked around the corner too, which didn't look anywhere near special enough for the money

I saw a Veyron today, it was black and red and was travelling on the road to Marlborough, from Swindon.

It looked a bit low considering the roads round that way are very rough.

When I was working for a well known motor dealer, we had 5 veyrons in the workshop on one day!! A couple of Enzo's, F50, F40 loadsa 430's, 599's and Lambos...in the top trumps of life....I win!!!

some...been in a veyron as passenger...Blimey!!!!....599 very good, 430 lovely, Lambo Gallardo pretty good, Bentley GT not for me, Massa Gransport- my own favourite...

PS: Was tempted by a Gallardo sometime ago, how would you rate it against the F430?

Lambo v Ferrari depends on what you want to look like...80's macho with gold chain then go Lambo (I'm not saying that is a bad thing), Italian playboy with Gucci loafers..go Ferrari...both are awesome..the older I get the more I am drawn to Lambo...what does that say about me...either that or Dubai bling is rubbing off on me??

Glad to hear that, I love my car

I think the GranSport is underrated as there aren't all that many of it and it came at the end of the 4200 Coupe' (albeit short) product cycle.

I too would prefer the Lambo as it's more rare (at least here in Tokyo) and a bit more aggressive looking with all those straight line edges
