Re: Mitsubishi Lancer

I always used to prefer Evo's to Scoobies but the last Scoob incarnation has levelled the playing field IMO.

I think I'd go for an EVO VII

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer

They are very high impact when you see one coming towards you, saw one in Harrogate same colour as the one baby posted on Saturday and it was bit impressive looking.

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer

They look a bit more restrained than earlier versions. I like them insofar as I appreciate how technically good they are but they don't set my heart racing and I could never see myself owning one or a Scooby for that matter.

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer

Yeah the one me and dad saw was the same colour as what i posted.

In the flesh they look more squashed, very tall and long. I also think the plastic on the front does look cheap

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer

The more I look at it the less I like it. I'm going to hate it soon probably.

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer

Drove an EVO VI a few years ago on a driving day event and it was nearly impossible to get the thing to go straight

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer

You know why you never see an Evo going fast....its because its over due for its 100th service. Seriously, those cars are ridiculous to keep running. Gorgeous to look at though.

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer

The new Evo X is absolutely gorgeous. My parents run a mitsubishi dealership and it is a awesome machine. The servicing interval issues have been resolved now, Mitsubishi have changed it to 12k intervals, like most manufacturers, as they realise people want to be driving it not getting it serviced all the time.

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer

I expect that the more observant amongst you have noticed that on the new evo, the front number plate is in the same place as Alfas!

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer

If you want a Proper EVO get a IV RS with an EVO VII+ engine installed in it as anything below that will bend a conrod over 360bhp.

I personally prefer a STi RA 2 Door scoob over a EVO anyday.
