New BMW M1 Homage car photoshopped?

Hmm if you look at the back right part of the car, does it look like someone has photoshopped it and left the inside of the alloy coloured in, or is this some new fashion to colour the inner sides of alloys??

Re: New BMW M1 Homage car photoshopped?

I think the inside of the wheel is body coloured. If you look at the news story on PH there's an outside shot of one of the wheels, and you can see the colour coming through the slots in the wheel.

edit - that's not to say it isn't a photoshop, just that regardless I think it's meant to look like that.

BMW M1 Concept - Supercars.net

The original was definately a feather in BMW's Cap.

Hopefully the new one will keep up the name.

Re: New BMW M1 Homage car photoshopped?

As I have a soft spot for the great M1, I was quite intrigued by this when I read it.

The photos of the concept did look good until I saw it "perched" next to the original and realised it was nothing more than a squashed Hummer It's almost square in plan view

Strangely, I'm liking them alloys

Re: New BMW M1 Homage car photoshopped?

The more i look at it especially on the link from Cilbertr14 where it is next to the other two cars, the more it looks like a photoshop job. something is wrong with the proportions, it just doesn't look like it's sitting on the ground right.

Re: BMW - M1 Homage

I wouldnt drive that if i was given it. What is it trying to be? Looks like something they would come up with in scrapyard challenge. If i saw one on the road i would call the police and make them give it an ASBO. Ugliest thing ever conceived.
