Fuel economy off a Vauxhall

We often complain about the fuel economy of our Alfas. But something tells me, the fuel economy of this Vauxhall is worse:

Good old Opel/Vauxhall.

Those folding roof "**** Floats" really annoy me for some reason.

Re: Fuel economy off a Vauxhall

My bro bought an Astra. He doesnt like it. I told him he wouldnt cause its a Vauxhall and they are crap, but he didnt listen. Now he gets maybe 20mpg on a normal drive and its only 1.8. I do like his alloys though. He asked me the other week if i would consider swapping my 147 for it. I havent spoken to him since.

Re: Fuel economy off a Vauxhall

I like Vauxhalls, i worked in one of the dealers for many years and have owned numerous.

Currently i have a 51 Omega 2.6 V6, cracking car that is uber reliable will do 1200 miles in 24 hours and not give any issues, and i still get 25mpg fully loaded with 4 adults in it.
