Re: The "Others Breakdown" Image Gallery

I once lived in Girton just by the A14, nasty piece of tarmac that stretch, always hearing about bumps and breakdowns.

Re: The "Others Breakdown" Image Gallery

lady at work asked me to look at her Corsa as there was oil all over the engine bay and none in the engine. Could not see any obvious place for the oil to come from once refilled, that said everything was black and dripping. Turned out the garage found of the oil pressure sensor had broken off, the second time in three years.

And it was not made in Italy......

Re: The "Others Breakdown" Image Gallery

A bloke I work with has just had the ECU fail in his 2000/V registered Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Club. Vauxhall want £700 for a new one, and yes it was made by Bosch.

<3 yr old Vectra 2.2. Two new front springs, new fuel pump, still not sorted (engine warning light comes on & the engine dies).

Re: The "Others Breakdown" Image Gallery

Yesterday.. One of out works Citroen C5 HDi's wouldn't start, due to a knackered sterter motor.

Today.. A guy I work with has an X reg 50,000 mile Nissan Primera. Its running badly and has injector light on. I'll update on the cause when he hears from the garage.

Re: The "Others Breakdown" Image Gallery

yesterday I was cursing the lack of a camera as I passed a BMW 3 series stuck in the outside lane of a dual carriageway, broken down. Wipers were pointing skywards suggesting electrical failure.

Could not resst dropping 2 gears as I swept past
