Re: Lotus Test Drive

I loved my Elise....absolutely loved it. In the summer, with the roof down it was driving nirvana.

In the winter though...eurgh. Heaters were rubbish, it used to frost up on the inside, it was incredibly skittish and standing water meant you were going to die Mine was the S1 though...

Still, I'd have another...and I intend to.

Re: Lotus Test Drive

Looks nice Matt.

S2 was not much better in the winter and I had forgotten about the crap heaters.

I will have another one as a second car one day - pure driving heaven.

Re: Lotus Test Drive

No just get the Elise - Exige is ok but not as much enjoyment with the roof fixed.

Re: Lotus Test Drive

You can actually take the roof off the S2 Exige though...albeit not 'officially'. You can even by fabric roof kits.

Was unaware of that - still the standard roof is bad enough never miond trying to do the same with a supposidly fixed roof.

If you're going to do that-you should buy an elise.
