Lancia Delta
Supposedly, Lancia will show some sketches its new Delta at the Venice film festival in October. These are Infomotori guys' thoughts on what the car may look like.

Re: New Lancia Delta *pics*
Apart from the fact that this looks like a SUV that had been sat on, what class of vehicle is the Delta supposed to be...?

Looks more like a heavily updated ypsilon to me and that is one ugly vehicle.

Re: New Lancia Delta *pics*
Let me highlight that these are not official photos but the Infomotori guys' own representations based on "sources".
We shall wait a few more weeks for the official stuff from Lancia.
And I agree, hopefully the car will look different, very different.

Re: New Lancia Delta *pics*
I dont know about you guys, but for me this is a looker!
At the upcoming Venice Film Festival,Lancia will be the major sponsor, they will also have some shoes of their on,presenting past glories and maybe future models. One of them could be the make or break...new Delta.
Oh,why does it always have to be an Italian company that has to rely on a single model to break even?

Re: New Lancia Delta *pics*
It's only the headlamps & grille that let it down IMO, I love the rest of it

The Delta on Bigfoot's pictures looks little bit like an hippopotamus on the front(Not the cuttest animal, we would agree). I like the back though, even if it is very much like the current Ypsilon.
But I quite like the Delta Picture found by Marius.
I must admit, as much as Alfa-Romeo, I am a Lancia fan and always wanted to buy a Delta (The Guigiaro's squarry one from the 80s as well as not enough loved one from the 90s)
I hope that Lancia will come back soon and healty on the UK Market.
Key of their success would mainly rely on excellent Marketing and drastic improvement of the more than dreadful UK Customer Services that poisons to the Fiat & Alfa-Romeo Brand, I think.

Re: New Lancia Delta *pics*
As a previous owner I'd like to know how and if Lancia ever intend to replace the Delta HPE Turbo.
It was/is a heavy duty but very aggressive car even in standard state, and can be seriously & inexpensively upgraded via turbo/intercooler/suspension mods etc. to the point where it re-writes the term "Sleeper"

Re: New Lancia Delta *pics*
I see on Italiaspeed, that Lancia is to make a world comeback, including the UK and Japan in 2008. But looking at the new Ypsllon, with it's stupid, instruments-in-the-centre-of-the-dash and its pouting Lancia grill on the front, you have to wonder why they even bother.........
