Introductions...
Is this a good place to have a thread for the Irish AO's. Kind of introductions, and look out for me type stuff?
I suppose in terms of keeping the WOT and the General threads less cluttered, any Irish sightings etc would be best filed away here.
Mods, If it is the wrong place, or inappropriate, then please feel free to remove. I just figured it would be a good place to try and start building the Irish community 'spirit'..
So, I'll get it started.
I am Brian. I live in Co.Kildare and work near the Red Cow Roundabout.
So, you will see most weekdays at around 8pm & 5pm on the N7 in my Black '05-D' 147.
If you see me make sure to give a wave

It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Good idea Brian and its a small world, I work for Diageo Baileys in Belfast and am often down at the Nangor Road plant, I sometimes have to do an overnighter and usually stay at Morans Hotel on the Red Cow roundabout. I still haven't plucked up the courage to drive down though, the train and Luas is a much nicer option
I live in Cookstown, Co Tyrone and as you can see from my signature picture I have a pale blue 145 1.8 T-Spark. Its usually seen pounding up and down the M2 to Belfast Mon - Fri and I give it a couple of days rest at the weekend

It is a small world,
My wife works for DBGS at Nangor road (I work just off the Nangor Road myself), and she used to travel to Belfast alot when that plant was being set-up!

Re: Introductions...
Hello All
I'm Mark, from around the Ballynahinch area, and work near Kennedy Way in Belfast, so if you see a red 147 with 17" supersports being driven between the above by a tired looking bloke with not much hair, there's a good chance it's me.
If you see a similar car and a girl with long hair, (either driving or in the passenger seat) waving frantically, that's definitely Jacqs

Re: Introductions...
Hi fellow island peeps, im Lisa from Coleraine Co. LDerry, I have 3 miles to travel to work and back so no one is likely to see me very often on their way to work, but my sis lives in belfast so the odd visit to her or the airport sometimes sets me on the motorway and boy does my 156 love her BelFAST trips.

I take it, with the motorbike races in the area this weekend your car won't be moving too much

You're lucky to be so close to it. I've enjoyed it many times, I love the atmosphere of the NW 200. Unfortunately hubby has to work today so we can't make it and we didn't even get to practice sessions this year

Re: Introductions...
I'm Jonathan (although most people call me Jonny) and I live in Newtownabbey just outside Belfast.
You'll see me most days on the M5/M2 in my Nuvola White 147 GTA. I also do a bit of travelling round for work so keep an eye out and give a wave. There's only one other Nuvola White GTA in N.I. (it's near the Ballymoney area) so chances are it'll be me.

Re: Introductions...
Hi,
My name is Eddie and I drive a 03 156 Veloce Sportwagon. Its the 2.4 jtd and red in colour. Travel all over NI from Ballymena, so if you see me out there, give me a wave. Not many sportwagons over here so you'll know its me.
Best regards
Eddie

Re: Introductions...
Hi all,
Im John and when I'm home I live over at Stormont in Belfast. I have a 2000 black 2.0 156 veloce , with smoked rear lights and repeaters. I work in the middle east and unfortunately not home that often, so more than likely to see the missus driving. Angela works in Toome st at the Royal Mail, so likely to be seen commuting. I'm usually relegated to the Ulysee MPV as I cant get her out of the Alfa!! But can usually be seen around East Belfast/Knock Carriageway and around Comber/Ballygowan/Bangor/Ards. Seen some great 156's recently. I love seeing a cherished Alfa on the road, clean, polished and with just enough to give away an enthusiast.Like an owners club sticker, uprated alloys, factory extras like spoilers or body kits. Not Chav'd up, but subtle enhancements (although if I had a GTA...I'd leave perfection alone!!!.....wonder if the missus will let me sell the bus??! lol!!)
Oh yeah and Im into my classic Lambretta's aswell!!
