Re: Introductions...
Just found this thread. Graham from Barrie, Ontario, Canada, but soon, like 3 weeks time, to be back home for good in Lisburn.
I have 2 projects at the moment, a 75 3lt and a 75 Twinspark Veloce. But I am hoping to get a 116 GTV soon.

Re: Introductions...
Just a long shot - I owned a Red 1983 GTV6 which I sold to David Kennedy in Dun Laoghaire back in 1995.
Anyone from North Tipperary (where it was last registered) seen a red 83 with 83 D ????? plates on it? I want it back!

Re: Introductions...
Nigel and I'm an Alfaholic with No Alfa........................
Previously a GTV TS, sold last year with much regret now - wonderful car. On look out for amazing GTA or GTV Cup or even a 3.0 Spider among others (MRoadster !). Currenly driving a rare E36M3 saloon...
@Belfast Child, I'll keep a look out, I'm in North Tipp - but that car seems familiar to me for some reason.

Re: Introductions...
Nigel, don't tease me now
I have the Southern reg number somewhere, but my last enquiry from a mate in the PSNI told me it had not been taxed for at least 5 years.
Any help would be appreciated, as I am moving back home to NI from Canada in 9 days

Re: Introductions...
Only an honorary member until January when my 159 arrives. Live in Co Clare, well Limerick city really, but it’s a long story.
Looking forward to avoiding speed traps on way to work in Shannon come Jan.
This will be my first Alfa.

Hi Bob,you got much experience of Eurofix-my cars due its first MOT shortly and I'm looking for someone to check her over and do a couple of small fixs I know she needs.I've heard a few people who recommend Eurofix, but it usually turns out to be someone else they know who has a mate who knows someone who works near them and they seem OK etc.................

Re: Introductions...
I have used Eurofix for years - the main man is John and he knows all about Alfas (and Lotuses). Very basic premises but he will be able to sort out any problems without costing the Earth.

i have only had my alfa since november, but i have visited john many times since
he was recommended to me, and has been spot on every time.
he is always very busy with work, knows alfa's inside out, has all the diagnostics etc and loads of parts in stock.
he has lent me a car, picked up my car, done work at cost and al sorts - plus just a quick chat soon puts you at ease that this guy both knows his stuff and is a very genuine and honest guy.
i know im sounding like his best pal or something- but he really is that good.
most importantly he tries to do the work with minimum expense (tho only using alfa parts).
everything he has done for me was fixed successfully first time.
guys a saint and a genius in one

Re: Introductions...
Hi there, I drive a '95 146 boxer, but not very often, as I mainly ride my motorcycle to and from work and also drive the wifes car. Its more economical on fuel. I am usually kicking around Donaghadee, Bangor and Ards area or the north coast in Portstewart. There arent too many 146s in the north from what ive seen! About 3.
Does anyone know how to replace the plugs on these engines, i dont want to pay a mechanic.
