Daft and Mad!! ha ha! found them. Some great pics, gutted i had to leave early without really having the chance to have a good natter with anyone. Such a perfect day for it though.

Apologies for bumping an old thread but I was just wondering if there is anything like this happening again this year ? Last year was a fantastic day out and I'd love to go again (might even have a new older addition to bring along ).

The short answer is that we hope so. There is a different girl in the office who is proving hard to get hold of. There have been some discussions and this new girl seems to be proving difficult as she has raised insurance issues, our preferred dates being unavailable etc, etc. We're hoping to get it resolved soon. Last year's event was finalised at the last minute so we're not worried just yet

According to Stu (on niimc.net) this couldn't be resolved,so they are looking for an alternative venue.Hope they are successful as last years event was a great success! Cultras loss methinks

It certainly is Cultra's loss, although thinking about it, I doubt they got that much revenue. The food vans made a killing though :-P

Yep, it seems our success last year has been our downfall as far as this venue is concerned. It seems they seen a money making opportunity and weren't going to shift. Oh well they've spoiled it for everyone.

We have been invited to Lurgan which is on the same day as we had planned so we might gate crash there.

Some sort of club organised day would be preferable though. I'll work on the others and see what we can do.

Rowallane Gardens in Saintfield is a nice venue. Nation Trust property, coffee shop available, close to belfast etc Worth a punt?
