Will bring it up at the next meeting, however I think joint club events etc will be more than likely encouraged. The scooter fraternity can be quite 'traditional' and tends to not be anything, other than a scooter club However, joint ventures could be very positive for both clubs. Also as a matter of interest for anyone, tomorrow, the other club I belong to (Solid Bond Scooter Club) is having its first ride out from the City Hall, meeting at 11h00. Members of other clubs will be joining us and more importantly we are collecting donations for a very worth while cause. Below is a copy of the post I put on our forum.Everyones invited, come down for a look and a natter, and this will be our sponsored charity for this year.

quote from the paper-- We are writing to you to ask for your help in raising money/sponsorship and awareness of a serious disease that our eight month old son Dylan has been diagnosed with in the past few weeks. Dylan has Taysachs Disease (tsd), this is an inherited genetic disorder that causes gradual destruction of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Children with this disease have progressive systoms and usually die by 3-5 years of age. Dylan also suffers from Nystagmus (rapid eye movement and poor vision). At the present time in the USA there is ongoing research into finding a cure for tsd . We are currently looking into this . Taking Dylan to America for research treatment is our only hope of saving our much loved son .We hope to get Dylan to America ASAP before the systoms develop futher . If you think you can help in any way, no matter how small, please dont hesitate to contact us .Thank you - contact... Ms Carrie Davidson 6 glenrosa street belfast bt15 2jb

Solid Bond SC will be having its first official ride out on Saturday 17th (thats this Saturday!) and what better way to kick off 2007 than to help a family in need.I'm sure there won't too many of you out there that are not touched by the above plea. I know I am.So...get your piles down to the city hall, 1100 Saturday morning, wallet in hand and a full tank of juice, Help us help young Dylan and in the process join us for some great craic, taking in Bangor then on to Donaghadee for a wee lemonade. Not too far on these brisk winter days.....so get amongst it and help us raise some money. If you cant make it, don't worry contact myself on here and if you or your club would like to make a donation, I'll collect and highlight your contribution. I know this Saturday is short notice, but we want to get this money to Dylan ASAP. Many thanks in advance.
