NIIMC all Ireland Italian motor gathering 2010

Hi All. We will again be running the annual gathering at Cultra museum outside Belfast on Saturday july 31st. It's later in the year but will give a better chance of good weather, and it was the only booking Spot available.
As always every type of italian vehicle regardless of year and condition will be made very welcome, so no excuse not to come along.

Vehicle entry is £10 and this includes 2 tickets into the museum. All money goes to the museum and not the NIIMC.

If you need any further info by all means email me at chairman@niimc.net or follow the thread over on the NIIMC site http://pub29.bravenet.com/forum/static/s...11&cmd=show

Hope as always to see as many of you as possible.

I should have added, as it's Alfa's 100th we are hoping to celebrate that by putting various Alfa's in the main circle but can only do that if all you Alfa people come along. So don't let the side down.

I will try to get along to that with my MiTo if that would be acceptable. Must make application to the NIIMC in the meantime...

By all means it would be acceptable. We are hoping to have as many Alfas there as possible so we can celebrate Alfa's 100th.

I'm actually surprised at the lack of interest from Alfa owners so far!

Stu, in fairness, it's only the 30th of June. Some people, including me, can't make plans that are a month ahead, because I never know what's going to happen. Anyway saying this, if I'm not busy around that date, I'll probably be there.

It's very difficult to plan were we are going to place cars on the day, are we going to be left with a lot of space, or worse no space at all, when it's not a pre-book event so I'm always worried the event a flop. So forgive me if I'm being pushy looking for commitment from everyone, the more people who come along the better the event.

I'm trying hard to make this an event in Ireland that will match the Italian days in England. I can only do that with help from all of you.

This also happens to be the official launch day for the Giulietta and Mervyn Stewarts are hoping to have one available for the Cultra show.

All being well, I should manage to get along too.

Oops, should have said I won't have an Alfa but I will be along to see the show. If the wife is off I could offer the wife's Bravo Sport if that would be of interest.

Starts at 10.00 am to 16.00. Pay at the gate £5 per vehicle however if you bring along more than 1 vehicle and they belong to you, you will only be charged the £5. For this you also get 2 entrance tickets into the transport museum.

On arrival please follow the directions from the NIIMC members who hopefully will be wearing their blue polo shirts.

Re the Guilietta launch on the same day, M Stewarts are doing everything they can to secure a car for official launch at the event. There is a chance it may not happen but as soon as I know everyone else will to.

There's a very strong possibility that we will have an 8c on the day to.

I'm doing a lot of praying.

Nice to see you guys from the south making the effort to attend.I know it's quite a journey for some of you,but with the motorway now complete (apart from the Newry by-pass) it's not the slog it used to be! I'm at least as far as Dublin almost every day and see some interesting Ialian cars about,in particular a few nice 166s and 155s,and even the odd 145/6.I've also seen two Abarth 500s with Dublin reg, would be nice to see them at the show.If any of you guys see anything interesting, why not invite them along.

Was planning a trip across to Cultra withone of the 156's but now working nights Fri-Mon so maybe not get there..

For those Southern members the Newry Bypass opens fully on Friday morning so shortening your journey times
