I had a drive in one a couple of weeks ago and whilst it is a very good wee car (I was very surprised at how good it is) it's not enough to tempt me out of the 147.
The MiTo GTA, however, could be another story
BTW when you get your MiTo make sure and bring it to our monthly meets

We'll need pictures after you get her on Saturday.
Good luck with your first Alfa and I hope it brings you many happy miles.
Hopefully we'll see you at one of the monthly meets.

Re: Anyone in NI ordered a mito?
Well guys after driving her around all night I am more than over the moon.
I really want to highlight how amazing Mervyn Stewart have been, when I arrived my car was in the showroom covered in a red alfa 'cloak' ready to be unveiled - a very nice touch. Mervyn Stewart has been the best car dealership I have dealt with.
And to anyone considering a mito, go for it, superb!

Re: Anyone in NI ordered a mito?
I saw a really nice Mito on the lisburn road today. Red with what looked like optional extra wheels and silver mirror covers. It really looked the part.
I've been having a look for this wheels on the alfa site but I can't find them. They were a 3 spoke design with double spokes (so 6 in total). The face was silver and the off-face gunmetal colour.
As you can see I really liked them.

Re: Anyone in NI ordered a mito?
I have just noticed something bad......
After showing my car off to people today and people complimenting the alloys I noticed that all of the red brake caliper is not present on all wheels. The part which says 'Alfa Romeo' is not attached on any of the wheels, I will have to call the dealer on Monday.
I assume this won't be a big job to put these on?

Re: Anyone in NI ordered a mito?
Congrats bluefitz, hope you enjoy your Alfa as much as I do! I was in MS on saturday getting a couple of little niggles fixed, and called round to the showroom for a chat.I am really taken with the Mito, which looks much better in the flesh-photos just don't do it justice!I intend to enjoy the GTA for a couple more years yet though, maybe then I'll consider a Mito, although we'll also have the 149?Milano? or whatever they are going to call it by then, maybe more practical size wise than the Mito,so I'll have to see which to go for.'Course the next 159 will also be a contender by then too...........choices,choices! The only thing I am pretty sure of that my next car will be an Alfa!

Well got my Mito about a week ago and I love it.
I was hoping to get the Cloverleaf welcome pack and a few freebies but all I got was the manuals, keys and the salesman gave my wee son a toy car, (which was nice.) He then told me that you had to pay for the Cloverleaf club...
does anyone know if this is just a Northern Ireland Thing?

Just been reading the May '09 price list, (the current download from ARs website), just wishful thinking on my part unfortunately, but it clearly states...
"as an Alfa Romeo owner you’ll get three years’ free membership."
if you really want CC membership, I'd give them a ring,
it's normally £75 /year
See here
(page 29)
All I got was a small tin of very small mints,
