My Goddamn ALFA!!!!

Has ticked me off today, after getting everything running sweet, i went on a spirited run today changing gear at 6k rpm and whilst changing into forth, i heard this clink from the drivers side of the engine bay and then a pinging noise and something flung itself out the bottom of my car!!!

I retraced my journey to see if i can find what popped out but couldn't find a thing Can't "find" anything wrong YET but it leaves me a bit concerned about driving here incase it was something quite important

Re: My Goddamn ALFA!!!!

could be a stone or something got flicked up into the engine bay then back out (especially if you dont have an undertray)

Re: My Goddamn ALFA!!!!

i've had this before but i think it was just a stone pinging of the shocks. Sounds like something has come off when it happens though i know what you mean. If it's important you'll find out soon enough...... Good luck

Jamz, i know what you mean though, whether it was a stone or debris or anything, you automatically get paranoid that your wheel is going to fall off!
(incidentaly did you check your wheel nuts? )

Metalic debris?

Could be! Like what the French Concorde hit?

Only less damaging?

Paulus

PS Oh! I am not sure that helped. Sorry

Re: My Goddamn ALFA!!!!

Paulus, it may not have helped but it did make me laugh which is the main thing

I actually haven't checked the wheelnuts! i'll do that now! I have got a set of lowering springs that needed fitted so when the wheels are off i'll surely find out then if something has popped off.

Incidently does anyone know someone who'll fit lowering springs for beer?
