Anyone interested in go-karting?

We're trying to arrange a day or evening out go-karting during May or June at the outdoor track near Portadown. If you're interested then post replies here and I'll let you know of dates if there is enough interest.

It looks pretty good. We are starting to gather up numbers so I need to know who is definitely interested.

Got your pager so I've included you in the numbers. BTW the underlined and bold "definite" wasn't aimed at anyone. It was just to make sure that people knew the date was confirmed and any names would be taken as going.

Meet there for 12.00pm. They'll start as soon as we're all ready. There's only 10 names at the moment so I'm not sure how long it'll run although they say they'll do a Grand Prix with a minimum of 8 people.

think i need some practice

Well I managed a 2nd,2nd,1st and 3rd. I came 2nd in the semi-final (almost had the leader and eventual 2nd place finalist) and 4th in the final.

The karts were a bit of a lottery as some seemed to be quicker and had more grip than others. My weight penalty didn't help either (We worked out I was between 40 and 50 kilos heavier than the evntual winner). I have some pics which I will post up later.
