Area Rep. for Northern Ireland

Just to let everone know that I've taken on the role of Area Rep. This will be done in association with the Northern Ireland Italian Motor Club so anyone interested should come along to the monthly meeting which takes place on the first Monday of every month at 7.45pm. As previously posted our normal venue is, well, no longer available A new venue will be posted asap (we have a couple of options under discussion) but will likely be in the Belfast area.

If anyone has any questions or comments then please let me know.

Hey Jon! Good news.

Keep us posted on what's happening.

(Haven't seen you on the road lately... are you still in Ballyclare from time to time?)

Congrats Jon,

the tie in with NIIMC seems to be the sensible solution for NI, I'll keep an eye out for events and try my best to attend a few,

Good Luck

edit
Just checked out the NIIMC website, I was checking the pics from Cultra last year, and guess whose ugly mug turns up behind Stuart's 308 in the first photo at the top of the page ,
fame at last

Yes, I'm still about Ballyclare. Usually on a Thursday evening at my mate's house or a Sunday at my folks. If I'm not in the Alfa then I'll be in the wife's red Grande Punto Sporting.

Re: Area Rep. for Northern Ireland

Hi there, has anything been established as yet in NI? I wouldnt mind meeting up with you guys to get some mechanical hints and tips and make some contacts. My only problem is my old 146 is nothing special to look at as it isnt nicely polished, etc, but i like it anyway. It might look out of place parked up beside a load of high spec cars! lol. All I want is get my boxer engine running sweet, but i dont know where to start with replacing the spark plugs, etc. It drinks fuel so might have to give her away the way the petrol prices are going.

Re: Area Rep. for Northern Ireland

Boxer we have all kinds of Alfa's on here I'm sure Jon would love to have you at one of his meets

It's not all about high spec new shiney cars on here at the yorks viaduct meet the car of the day was a 20 year old Sud that shed it's exhaust on the way home

Stick around keep an eye on the event lounge and get yer behind to a meet soon

Re: Alfa Breakers

congrats

Can anyone help? Looking to move my 1999 Alfa 156 2.5 V6 on. Wanting a fresher model. Does anyone if there are any alfa breakers who would give me a good price.

I did hear of a garage in the Belfast area that specialises in Alfas. Not sure who he is or if he takes cars in for parts.

Car drives well and is MOT till Nov 08

Cheers for any help

Why not bring the car to the next NIIMC/AO meet on 7th October. Details can be found at The NI Italian Motor Club or send me a PM for more info.
