Re: AONW Chrimbo dinner
so what's the plan then gents?
any chance of switching it to wed 12th - liverpool are playing marseille on the 11th which could be a champions league qualifying decider, depending on how we get on against porto tonight? that's a match i REALLY need to be watching

Al, the spelling might not quite be right but are you pretending to be Dean Lavutaris? See link http://www.lofg.com/specialstuff/ima...ep_6/title.jpg
If not, I'll tell you who it is unless someone else has the answer.
Goals galore at Anfield, yippeeeee. Definitely watching the Marseille game. I'll post my intentions re the Xmas meal soon. Other things on at present.

Cayman has been perfect...
little more power from the 2,7 would be nice but it's still puttingout what the 3.2 does, handling sublime.. 100HP's damn good as well. MY parting comment to Mango's was was if the brera was that well screwed together I wouldn't have changed..
Owrkign on a bid in sweden most weeks, although in reading hotel room tonight - thankyou voda 3G...
Hows the 156 going.. will have to get together soon...

SImes,
in a hotel in reading on the vodka eh? the things you do for money!!
the 156 is fine ta, had a few little warranty jobs fixed a few weeks ago (including a brand new roof lining to cure an intermittent rattle on a 2nd hand, 2-and-a-half year old 156, cheers mangos ) glad to hear life's good with the cayman - bring it along to a meet sometime so we can (jealously) take the p*ss

I will do ...
if you read the autocar roadtest of 350z , 135i and cayman last week ti sort of defines the cayman (as opposed to the S) not the quickest it just somehow exists on a different plane in the driving experience.
If alfa could deliver that in new car especially if the delivery quality is sorted - hopefully wainey's new brera is sweet. I'd be back come time to change. Mango's will still be my choice - still will bring the panda there rather than locally...

cool beans. they even managed to give me a 147ti as a courtesy car. it's becoming quite amazing what an AO sticker in the window will do these days! what you say above re: the autocar cayman vs its rivals is probably true - the "clued-up" car buyer would almost certainly rather buy a quick car that's a cracker to drive than a crushingly fast car that's dull to drive because you can't get anywhere near its limits. some of the best fun i've ever had in cars is in ones where the power & grip allow you to spank the thing silly without either a) losing your licence or b) going backwards through a hedge at 120mph
