Re: Mangoletsi

OK, I give up. How the hell do I get a response from Mangoletsi?

My (used) car had a number of faults, most of which have been sorted. I am, however, left with a fundamental fault which I feel is unacceptable - they call it 'characteristic'.

I get fed up making phone calls - it's impossible to get hold of the person you want & calls are never returned - so I decided emails were a better option.

Three emails were ignored, so I wrote a letter; that was ignored, so I wrote to the managing director; that was ignored

There are some good people working for Mangoletsi; they are being let down by what I can only describe as corporate incompetence.

Well done, Mangoletsi. You've sold me my last Alfa; I trusted you - you have betrayed that trust.

If we are what we eat I'm quick, cheap & easy.

Dave,

I accept communication may not be their strong point but what are the issues?

Who have you been emailing?

The speedo head was in fact changed whilst the car was serviced in Feb-as the new mileage was 00000.
In April/May I was rang by Alfa UK and asked if I would answer a few questions about Alfa ownership and in particular the recent service from MANGOLETSI-the survey involved rating mango's from 1(lowest)-10(highest)whilst most of the scores I gave where 7 or 8;;I only gave them 1 for the condition of the car when I got it back(I think if you're paying £200+ for a service they could at least wash it)and I scored them low for the failure to follow up with my handbrake appointment-I was told by ARUK that they would pass on my comments to Mango's and they would chase up the parts and get back to me-which they didn't.
If ARUK and Mango's are to change peoples views towards Alfa's they really have to get little problems like mine sorted out at the time.

Re: Mangoletsi

Yes, Mark seems a good guy. Service and techies seem very good. (shame about one or two in other depts who let the side down)

Did you see my 159 there D

Mangoletsi made their money twice on the last 159 and seem intent on making their money twice on this 2nd 159, no matter if I have a cash settlement or p/x the car for another with ARUK creating the 'deal'. They are infamous for this apparently or so Ive heard (from 3 different sources - one of which made me laugh so hard I was aching the day after )

My 159 is still off the road. Nearly 5 weeks after being limped there... Don't blame mangos wholly for this, just the slow parts supply.

I'm experiencing deja vu and amnesia at the same time.. I think I've forgotten this before.

Re: Mangoletsi

Had a look H but couldn't see it - must be hidden away at the back of the garage under wraps

I seriously hope you can get something sorted out soon H. Do you have to go through Mangos - why can't you deal with ARUK direct? Why does a garage have to be involved at all?

Re: Mangoletsi

@HM - Just to qualify thats its not mangoservice's fault for this.
They've uncovered a load of issues and the parts supply to a 9995 code car is painfully slow.
As Ive said many times before the service side and techies are very good at Mangos.

This reminds me of when I had a sony walkman from argos once years ago, I diligently took it back to argos at the end of the year broken for 3 years for a free replacement.
