I kept being dazzled by someone who'd left their foglights on for the entire journey

Besides, I quite like my license, and I checked before I left the house that I had balls, so I had no need to try and prove it through my driving

Point taken Bazza on all future Family do's a reasonable speed will be the rule

and the convoy leader will be told to take it easy there is a time and a place for blasts and the Family do's are not it

As for the fog lights you can sort that one out between the two of you

indeed. licence-risking aside, speeding with young children in tow is not my idea of fun

Re: Lights and Chips

It honestly was supposed to just be a mickey-taking post, rather than a passive-aggressive way of making a point

Sorry if anyone thought I was getting at them

But yes, there was no way I was going to be doing that speed especially with my family in the car (regardless of none of them being children) hence I got left behind a few times.

Car went in last Wednesday and finally got it back on Friday. Work carried out :- scuttle panel trims replaced, wheel arch liner refitted , drivers window adjusted. ( rattles and whistles cured)

the limp home mode culprit was the particulate filter again. Thats the 4th time in two months

The dealers have said they will get Alfa technical in if its not been cured this time round.

Re: Lights and Chips

best of luck gorf, hope they get it sorted once and for all. if you carry on having bother with the particulate filter then you could always get a real car, one with a petrol engine
