Found this pic of AONW's chief burger burner on his way to Aldi to stock up for his next inferno (napalms got nothing on Al)

Re: Introduction thread

Hi think its time to introduce myself,
Names Paul live in a sleepy village called Woolton liverpool
been into cars and bikes for as long as I can remember, somewhere in junior school was trying to put a lawnmower engine in a steery (wooden gokart).
So just bought a accident damaged 147 in black, only minor front end new bumper and head light, still needs more work but its on the road and I'm loving it.
My main passion at the moment is bikes, do trackdays both here and abroad, but my fav has to be the Nurburgring god I love that place, must of been 15 -20 times in the last 8 years, still planning another trip mybe late Sept.
But this little 147 is getting hold of me, so looking farward to meeting up with you all over the coming months.
Paul

Re: Introduction thread

now then, good choice of car!!! ahem bit bias there! my second passion is bikes but I cant ride them any more due to a dodgy left knee meaning I cant change gear. Have had some classics in my time, a fissy (fz1e!), cb400-4, cbr400 baby blade, bandit etc. Been drooling over an MV Augusta that a guy at work has just bought today! Very smart machine!
Welcome aboard and look forward to meeting you soon, best of luck with the fixing of the 147

Well Happy Re: Introduction thread

Hi!

I'm Gordon, I've just bought a 99 146 Ti, its my third Alfa after 2 33 Permanent 4s (surely no one else has had two of these?) Very glad to have an Alfa again, makes me feel like a man!

Looking forward to meeting up with some of you in the North West some time soon, would be great to meet some more people with a passion for Italian cars (I used to have a Delta HF too!)

Anyways, HELLO!! ;-)

Well that's as good a reason as any for a few words of introduction from me, as another (the only other?) Alfa owner in Woolton! Is yours the black 147 that lives at the bottom of Gateacre Brow by any chance? Mine's a red 156 - chances are I've held you up at some point trying to navigate around all the b***ard speed bumps in the village

Hi to all anyway
John

Re: Introduction thread

Only just noticed this thread.... must ave been a sleep...
anyway thought Id intro myself proper like!...
Im Kev and I'm an alcho....ooops wrong forum
another scouser...but I dont watch footy ...neither a blue or red...but Im capable of causing arguments between both...

Live in Crosby, owned lots of cars over the years (not that many ) previously owned a Red GT oil burner which was excellent, traded that in for a Black Brera 2.4 oil burner and just luv it.

Cheers all
Kev

Hi all I'm Sue, live in runcorn but my partner is from Huyton and we are good friends of Kevski (well i think we are). got into the forum through kev - you need to tell him dates of meetings more than once cos due to his age he forgets a lot.
hope to meet some of you soon at manchester airport
I drive a spider and it is a thorn in my side although my other half loves it
