Just had a good family day out at Halker Hall so as HM (Tony) says come and join us and let's make our meetings more of a family event.
Unfortunatley that would have been far far easier than Real life. I've not abandoned you just had to re-prioritise things slightly....
The pork experience continues without a hitch - except the cars jinxed.
blowout @ 85mph on the m6
smashed windscreen on the M62

I've some serious issues @ home, and work having taken more and more of my time away - Sweden anyone? I just don't get the time at the moment. Hopefully things will get better (or worse) over the next few months.
Anyway - hows the new brera going...

Re: Introduction thread
Hey Simes, hows tricks? Glad the Porker's to your liking, shame about the bad luck but it can't go on forever.. can it? Fingers crossed for you anyway. Hope to see you at a meet soon
Welcome aboard Nidge, Donington you say? I could be tempted.. again...... I loved it last time, but as time & cash are short (shorter than they were last year anyway ) this year I'm going to be trying out the tracks I've not yet visited with any luck. Donington will always be one of my favourites though... something about out-cornering an Evo and an Elise all day makes it stick fondly in my mind

Hi Simes, good to hear from you.
Sorry to hear about some of your misfortune. Nice car though!
The Brera's doing fine, couple of glitches but nothing like the previous one. Really pleased, but this one is more of a head-turner, probably down to colour and bigger wheels.
Anyway, as HM says, it would be good to see you again, even with a Porker, keep your eye open, we are due for a meet soon.
Andy.

Re: Introduction thread
Hi to all of you in the North West.
As I'm only just north of Stoke I guess I could make the west midlands meetings as well, but will try to keep an eye on both areas.
Trying to be on the same planet as the rest of the human race is difficult for me due to my job (Forget weekends in summer and public holidays) but would love to go to some track days or generally meet up with fellow Alfisti if the opportunity arises.
Enjoy your meetings and do make the effort to turn Alfa owners into a community.
Best Regards
Dave BB

Re: Introduction thread
Hiya Gents (and Ladies of course!)
Let me introduce myself, the names Andy, been driving Alfas for around 11 years now. Since the first one, an Alfa Red 1.8 16v 155 with the sport pack (oh how I'd love that one back!), I've had a 33 cloverleaf, 156 ts and 156 Selespeed.
Now the proud owner of a 1.9 GT and a 3.0 75. Trying to get the 75 back on the road for one of these track days you guys seem great at organising!
Hoping to makle the 19th meet at the Memphis Belle, maybe see you all there!

Re: Introduction thread
Hello Everyone
Even though ive been on AO for a few months now thought I should add something here too! My name is Mark (despite the user id) I drive a Fiat Stilo which I love very much, especially as she now has 17" Claws with Vredestein Ultrac tyres on!
Im rather tenuously linked with Bazza at the moment, im going out with his wife's sister! Think I met a fair few people here on the ill fated Lights and Chips meet, gutted I didn't come in the Stilo but as Bazza was going in the GTA our carbon footprint would have been awful!
Come from Handforth which isn't too far from Wilmslow and work for an airline at Manchester Airport. Not really a footie fan more an Ice Hockey fan, used to play back in t'day!
Hmmm what else to say?........not sure so ill leave it there!
Cheers!

Hockey aint just a game, its a way of life!
Fiat Stilo 1.6 16v Active - Francesca
- Now with Giugiaro designed Vredestein Ultrac's!
- Now with new Xenon's
- Now with 17" Claws
