Alfa 156 2.5 V6

Re: aintree again?

yea well up for some of this, ive never been on a track day before, although im pretty sure my driving/racing skills are up to scratch, i take it crash helmets are not compulsory? anyone been to days like this before? i imagine as its my first track day i should go in the intermediate group? any advice here?

Im picking up my new alfa this week, 156 2.5 v6 225bhp rolling roaded, koni shox, ecu remap, s/s/ exhaust, racing induction kit etc so should be real fun...

My old man used to race motorbikes back in the 60's and was noted for winning 6 races out of 6 at the aintree red rose (think it was called that) as he passed away earlier this year i think it would be a fitting tribute for me to attend...

Re: aintree again?

St Peter Lids are compulsory

I'll set up a thread I'm not tracking as I want to do Croft with the AONE chaps later in the year and I've done Aintree once this year

A fitting tribute to your dad

And racing isn't allowed

As it's your first time out I'd definitely go for the Novice section trust me it's not as easy as it looks

Same for me as HM, done this one and a cracking if small track but done in 10 min sections feels alot longer, but well worth a spin
