There was some talk last year about a few of us considering trying Anglesey circuit amongst others.

Well the good news is they have just completely developed a brand new circuit in place of the old one (not that the old one was bad!).
The new one looks like a cracker!

A few Dublin cars are heading over on July 7th, just thought I would mention it in case anybody is interested in trying this new track.
The dates are filling up pretty quickly so if youa re keen book away pretty soon.

Sandy, maybe you would be able to fit this in instead of the Ring?

Cheers,
TB

Oops, I clicked on the wrong area

Meant to have it in the North West which seemed the least bad match of the options available.
Maybe a kindly Mod could move it for me to the apporpriate area?

Re: The brand new Anglesey GP Circuit : July 7th

I've already booked in to do the Coastal circuit on August 25th Sad 'coz I can't make the date when there'll be more Alfas, happy 'coz I'll still be driving the new track, and it does indeed look bloomin' great

I did the old track on my bike, and that was loads of fun, hope the new one is just as good, it'll be a belting day out

The new circuit promises to be even better than the old one.

Everybody who's seen it has run out of superlatives to describe it. The aerial views don't really do it justice, as they don't bring out the changes in elevation that make it much more interesting than any old airfield can ever be.

There are some photos from ground level at:

http://www.wirral100.co.uk/w100newarc.html

(although there seems to be a problem with them at the moment.)

I'll probably turn up too, for some camera duties and to have a look at the place. It'd be rude not too, it's only just over an hour away. See ya there

Coastal circuit layout looks good too.

You can see all the layouts, including the old one (now defunct)
at:

http://bookatrack.com/-pV?9

..just move the mouse cursor over the name of the layout you want to see.

Cheers,
TB

Re: The brand new Anglesey GP Circuit : July 7th

Nearly time for a trip down the A55........... I'm definitely going, to give my new camera an outing, see if I can pick up some decent pics.....

I've heard some really good reports about the new track, mostly from bike racers who've been there for a testing day, but it sounds absolutely fantastic

See you there folks!
