NW rolling road day?

anyone interested in having one at some point? the one at minisport in padiham ages ago was a good crack.

also would a leper with a stupid choice of car that burns the wrong fuel be aloud to come along?

if not at minisport i can recommend John Clarksons.

They have much newer roading road than minisport (A Dastek one if that means anything. more info on the print outs, AFR etc). I organised a day for a few lads at work and they charged £30 for a run.

yep 150 bhp and 236 ft/lb as standard. minisport rolling road had it at 184bhp and 270 ft/lb, WGT autos hub dyno read 194bhp and a faintly ludicrous 347 ft/lb

now it's been gus'd it feels a wee bit quicker

what's the megane standard figures?

Renault state it 128 bhp / 221 lb-ft

I had it rolling roaded when I first got it and it came out at 150 bhp / 250 lb-ft which I was chuffed with. After a little fettling it ended up at 170 bhp / 305 lb-ft. The people that mapped it said they had to limit it a little as the clutch was slipping. New clutch and flywheel later and its had the full on hardcore map, so dont know what its at.

All taken from John Clarksons rolling road

As much as I hate the thing, it can shift, only weights 1250ish kg (made of finest french fromage frais and plastic)

NORM : 2nd in command

3rd on the Git list

My point is, diseasel boy, that the other 'advantage' of diesel over petrol - aside from the huge mpg difference - is supposed to be mountains of torque. So for a large-ish diesel engine with a turbo to only produce 20lb ft more than a proper engine, i think thats a poor deal in all honesty. id expect it to be closer to 300lb ft if im honest

or are waynes calculations a bit off?
