hosepipe ban over!

dug out my meguiars, buckets, sponges and gave my gtv a damned good clean today. looked great in the sun that came out briefly in lytham. of course it is raining again!

Wash any parts you take off . Look at it as a cleaning exercise rather than fixing the f.....

I don't understand. Just a week ago, the papers were reporting that all the rain had made no difference, and showing pictures of Tittesworth completely empty.

Just hope there's a long enough gap in the rain this weekend for me to actually clean the cars.

I forgot about the ban!! I've been using my hose pipe since I got back from my hol's two weeks ago! Obviously my neighbours ain't snitches!!! I think Alfa owners should be exempt anyway!!

Back on topic, when did that end? They kept that quiet! My ZR needs a good washing at the moment, I had the wheels powdercoated white the weekend after it came in. You can probably guess their current colour! Proper case of bad timing!

As it happens, you were quite entitled to jetwash your decking even while the ban was in force.
